However, the highlight of this location is the mola mola, or ocean sunfish, renowned for its massive size and listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Typically, this sea giant resides in deep, cold waters, but from July to October, the mola mola rises closer to the surface for a cleaning ritual. During this time, it can be seen near the coral reef, where small fish feed on the parasites on its skin. This rare occurrence draws divers from around the world, eager to witness this extraordinary sight.
