Nusa Penida

Island near Bali with amazing views of the cliffs and hidden beaches.

Show on map Show on map

Nusa Penida Island is located to the southeast of Bali. It is about an hour’s fastboat journey from Sanur or Padangbai. You will find famous beaches such as Kelingkin beach with a cliff in the shape of tyrannosaurus head or beautiful Diamond beach. But they are beaches rather than watching.

If you are a little experienced, it is worth renting a scooter on the spot and drive the whole island. The most famous places lead quite decent roads, but even so, there are broken sections in places where it is not easy to pass. In addition, roads are relatively narrow and you must avoid passing cars. If you want to see hidden beaches and beautiful views without people, be prepared that the roads will be really breakneck.

After stunning views, you can cross over to Nusa Lembongan Island and enjoy the long sandy beaches.
